The festival of lights

The stars hid behind the clouds,

Ashamed of their faded shimmer,

As a thousand sparks lit up the sky,

And a thousand smiles glimmered.

The sky is a canvas today, the night, a bokeh,

The streets decked up with joy.

The festival of lights is finally here,

It’s time for us to rejoice.

A very happy, sparkling, crackling, fantabulous Diwali!

Let’s gorge on those sweets and put our hips in danger, let’s light those diyas and burn away our problems! It’s time to spread love, to get decked up and sparkle like the lights on every window.

And remember, it’s the festival of lights and not sounds. Keep it noise free, Mother Earth would thank you for that.

Have fun! Stay safe and stay happy!
