Mother

It was a bad day. You came back home and snapped at your mother.

“Hold your tongue,” your mother said.
“Oh please don’t add to my misery! You won’t understand my problems anyway.”

That night you were so tired that you fell asleep right on the couch. It was cold, as cold as December could get.
In the morning when you woke up you saw a blanket covering you.

Mothers, they will love you even if you rob a bank. Why, they’ll make you eat your broccoli when you come back home with the loot.

Let’s all try and trap that smile on her lips. You are because she is. Love her, not only today, but everyday.

Wishing every mom in the world a Happy Mother’s Day 🙂
